A Bed of Roses Ribbon Cutting

Tuesday June 14^th we will be holding a Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony right here at A Bed of Roses. A year ago June 25^th we sold our house in Boston, packed up our antiques and our two cats and headed south to Asheville to buy A Bed of Roses, Victorian Bed and Breakfast. It took us until the end of August to complete the purchase and until just this past April to get our shiny new website up and running. It has been an action packed year! Between changing to a whole new profession and relocating to a totally different area of the country, with all of the things that “moving” entails, we’ve had our hands full. We had no idea how much there was to learn and master when we began this journey. We knew in our hearts that we would love innkeeping, though, and we were right about that! Now it’s time to celebrate this fast paced year of learning and life change and introduce ourselves formally to the greater Asheville community, a community we have come to absolutely love! We also want to thank and celebrate all of the great guests that we’ve had in this year. So many have been wonderfully supportive and excited for us in this new venture. Just reading the comments all of you have left in our room journals buoys our spirits and convinces us that we chose the best career in the world. Thank you!!
